Independent inspections for HMO landlords
If you have concerns about previous electrical work, send us the existing EICR, the agreed remedial scope and any completion certification. We can discuss an independent inspection and explain what the report will cover.
In our independent HMO inspection project, a landlord asked us to review work following an earlier remedial programme. We inspected and tested the installation and provided a full report identifying defects that remained unresolved. Our involvement in that project was inspection and reporting.

What should I send when booking an EICR?
Send the property postcode, property type and number of bedrooms or commercial circuits if known. A photo of the consumer unit and any previous report will help us scope the inspection.
Can you quote for work listed on an existing EICR?
Yes. Email the full report to joshua@shorelec.uk. We can review the observations and explain which items need a site visit or further investigation before a firm quotation.
