This project followed a programme of 19 Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) at a former housing association block of flats purchased by our customer. The owner was refurbishing the properties and wanted to ensure the electrical installations were in good order before new tenants moved in.
In this flat, we replaced the separate peak and off-peak consumer units. With very limited cupboard space, we carefully measured the available room and planned the layout so both replacement boards would fit.
Both boards were fitted with individual RCBO protection and surge protection. Documentation included an Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC), an EICR and Building Regulations notification.
