The work

As part of a refurbishment, a barbershop in central Southampton asked us to modernise its outdated electrical installation and address defects identified during an EICR.

We rewired the lighting, installed new emergency lighting with illuminated exit signs, upgraded the mains board and removed the old distribution units.

The work was completed over Sunday and Monday, the barbershop’s non-trading days, avoiding disruption to appointments and normal business hours.

On completion, we provided an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR), an Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC), Building Regulations notification and an emergency lighting logbook.
